Norman has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, both in the UK and overseas. He has worked in offshore HSE advisor roles in the North Sea and he has worked in Head of HSEQ positions in the UK, USA and Norway. As an HSEQ consultant, he now works globally for oil and gas companies, providing a wide range of services, including training, leadership coaching, behavioural safety and management system development. Norman is a full chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH), a member of the Institute of Management (IAM) and a fully accredited auditor (ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001). With an honours degree in chemistry and a post graduate degree in occupational safety and environment management, he is well educated and well placed to assist clients with a wide range of services and solutions. Norman is also an accredited member of the British Association of Investigators and provides a range of investigative and ‘expert witness’ services to his clients. One of Norman’s specialities is training. He is an approved trainer with IOSH, NEBOSH and City & Guilds. He has delivered training around the world for companies such as: Shell in Brunei, PDVSA in Venezuela, Sonatrach in Algeria, and KCA in the Caspian region. Norman delivers many bespoke training courses, including incident investigation, safety leadership, behavioural safety, risk assessment and safety for senior executives. In addition to his training activities, Norman operates as a management coach, providing mentoring and coaching both offshore and onshore, particularly for supervisors and line management. Norman has developed a bespoke approach to safety leadership and behavioural safety. Management system development and technical authorship are additional services that Norman delivers for his clients. As an approved auditor for ISO and OSHAS, he is well-placed to help clients develop their management systems, develop and write procedures and audit management systems.
Tim has over 30 years’ of major hazard industry experience and set up SSCL having taken early retirement from Dana Petroleum plc in 2013. At Dana Petroleum Tim had been the Group HSSE Director which included a year’s secondment to Dana’s owners, the Korea National Oil Corporation in Seoul. While there Tim provided specialist advice on HSE, Process Safety and HSE Leadership, Strategy and Best Practice. Previously Tim was at Wood Group, where he was the HSEQ Director for the North Sea Engineering Ltd business and prior to that he was HSSEQ Director at Maersk Oil UK, and held similar and other technical roles with Ithaca Energy, Marathon Oil, Texaco and PSL Energy Services. Tim was the Health and Safety Executive’s Principal Inspector of offshore and onshore gas and pipeline facilities throughout Scotland. Until his secondment to KNOC he chaired the IOSH Offshore Group and has been an active participant in various Oil and Gas UK, IOSH and Step Change initiatives for several years. Tim holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety and an MSc in Health and Safety Management – he is a Chartered Member of IOSH; a European Occupational Safety and Health manager; and a Registered Occupational Safety and Health Registered Consultant.
Madham has over 16 years’ of experience in Oil and Gas industry holding various key HSE positions including Incident Commander in various countries such as Falkland Island, Ghana, Tanzania, Gabon, Mauritania, Malaysia, Sudan, Vietnam, Myanmar, Timor Leste, Venezuela, Turkmenistan. He has worked for Exxon Mobil, Petronas, Dana Petroleum, Ophir Energy, AGR Petroleum and Bedrock Drilling. Madham has provided HSES leadership at offshore, onshore, remote base, worksites, regional office and corporate levels in strategizing company’s goals, objectives, policies, procedures, systems and regulatory requirements at worksites, project teams, construction sites, and supply base. He is specialised in setting-up and developing HSE procedures, guidelines, certifications, competency and training. He has developed and established complex combined Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management systems and audited protocols/strategies for diverse clients. In addition, Madham has developed Bridging Documents, HSE and Incident Notification flowchart for drilling operations (both for Domestic and International operations). Madham has conducted Country Risk Assessment (CRA) and QRA as joint efforts with JPEX (PCSB partner in Iraq/Basra) for Basra (Iraq) operations and trained the Project Team members in (PCSB/JPEX Dubai office) on HSE and Crisis Management training in. He is a permanent member in all HSE/Emergency Response Management Team (EMT) and manages Crisis Room and COMCEN. He is also member of PIMMAG and closely interacts with OSRL (Oil Spill Response in Southampton). Madham has significant experience is managing Oil Spill Contingency Plan and bridging document with Maersk and Petronas and was the custodian of OSRP. He has experience in carrying Interface training with contractors and government agencies. Madham has conducted various Emergency Response Training and drills for offshore rig and onshore ERT based on multiple scenarios including conducting training for team members.

Senior Consultant with Fire and Gas specialist
Craig has a BSc (Hons) in Fire & Risk Engineering with 6 years of experience within the oil and gas industry as a Safety Engineer, with extensive exposure to both Greenfield and Brownfield sites (for onshore and offshore). As a recognised F&G Safety specialist, Craig can offer 3D F&G detection mapping services and F&G detection lecturing specific to high hazard industries. Craig has experience working in various countries worldwide, such as the UK, Norway, Azerbaijan, S. Korea, Nigeria, Ghana, Angola and Turkey. This included working for a variety of different clients, such as BP, Shell, Chevron, TAQA, Enquest, Maersk, Tullow, Conoco Phillips, Centrica, CNRI, Apache, Petrofac, WGPSN, AMEC and Aker. Within his current role as a Technical Safety Engineer, Craig has extensive experience with typical Safety activities such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, SIL verification and LOPA. He also specialises with Safety Case creating, writing, and thorough reviewing, as well as creating / writing a number of new procedures / guidance for F&G detection, PFP and emergency response.
Principal Consultant with Functional Safety and C&I specialist
Greg is a TUV Certified Functional Safety Engineer for SIS with 14 years of experience in Offshore UK & Baku, Onshore Israel and the United Kingdom. Greg has worked for or with BP, Exxon, Shell, Chevron, Total, Maresk, Petrofac, Edrington, Diageo, Rockwell, Honeywell, Endress+Hauser and Zohar. He also has12 years of experience in the Scotch Whisky Industry as Instrument & Electrical Project Manager, HAZOP facilitator, SIL assessment, SIS design, verification and validation. Greg is a member of SWA work group that produced HSE endorsed guidance document on the application of SIL in the Scotch Whisky Industry. He has provided guidance on application of 61508/11 for the development of SRS and PFD calculations. Greg has broad experience working with Control system design, procurement, installation and commissioning of Allen Bradley, Honeywell Plantscape/ Experion, Profi-bus, Asi-bus, Hazardous area remote I/O. Greg has extensive knowledge of ATEX, Emerson Coriolis, Endress guided wave radar. He has experience as Lead I&C engineer on brownfield modification EPC contract on various projects that includes Nucleonic, Fire and Gas and HIPS associated projects. In addition, Greg has been a lead engineer on Honeywell control and safety systems FEED study for TDC to Experion, FSC to Safety Manager migration.
Siva has MSc in Operations & Services Management (Project: Distinction) and BEng in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Project: Distinction) and various certifications within the oil and gas industry. He has extensive, diverse and distinctive 14 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry in the technical and management areas gained from projects in the UK, Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and Africa. He has successfully completed projects directly and indirectly for various international companies such as Petrofac, Maersk Oil, Premier Oil, Dana Petroleum, SonaHess, Ithaca Energy, Marathon Oil, Axis Well Technologies, Dong, Petrobras, BP, LeTourne, Talisman, Fairfield Energy, Seaway Heavy Lift, Shell, Dubai Petroleum Company/ConocoPhillips, Sonavision, Apache, Afren, Parenco, Hibiscus Petroleum, Centrica Energy, Desire Petroleum and Diamond Offshore. His key competencies includes management and technical engineering services to major oil operators in areas of Safety Case development support, HSE Compliance support, Pipeline Safety Management Systems, PFEER Assessments, Operational Readiness Reviews, Project and Management System audits and decommissioning comparative assessments. Siva has experience carrying out due diligence for a major overseas operator in UAE. He has carried out various audits of management systems and its application on projects by using a customised protocol. Siva has also carried out operational readiness reviews for major oil companies where he was actively involved in the development of methods and protocols and ensuring that the facilities and systems were in a fit and proper condition to allow for production to commence. Additionally, Siva has technical abilities in Major Accident Hazards Reviews, Safety Case Thorough Reviews, HAZID/HAZOP Studies, SIL/LOPA studies, Risk Assessment Workshops, , Fire Risk Assessments (FRA), Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), Smoke & Gas Ingress Analysis, Escape, Evacuation and Rescue (EER) Studies and TR Impairment Analysis, Vulnerability Assessments, ALARP Demonstrations, PUWER/ Human Factor’s Reviews, FMEAs, Safety and Environmental Critical Elements (SECE) identification and Performance Standards development and general safety engineering support for fixed and mobile installations. He is also familiar with the IEC 61511 SIS lifecycle management that encompasses functional safety management plan, LOPA/SIL assessment, Safety Requirements Specification (SRS), SIL verification and validation processes. These technical abilities are complemented with my management abilities where, he has developed various customised integrated management systems that are suitable and fit for purpose and meet’s ISO 9001, OHSA 18001, ISO 14001 and HSG (65) requirements.
